Hong Kong is also a harbour
For many of us, Hong Kong is formerly a jewel of British kingdom and now part of China mainland empire.
But, eventually until you go there, you'll never know Hong Kong is also a harbour to allow to reach other islands of the territory.
Maybe you already know Hong Kong had built bridges over islands in order to ease traffic flow untill the new airport for several years, just before Hong Kong came back to China. But, maybe you don't know there are several islands which compose the Hong Kong territory.
Well, maybe as millions of people, this trip allowed me to discover the Hong Kong reality. And, I was quite surprised when I had to get a boat to go to Chung Chau island. It's a small island 10 km southwest of Hong Kong island.
We waited at the Central Pier. It's like a bus station, there are several lines which stops at
several islands.
