Hong Kong: Cheung Chau island #3

I was looking for some artcraft or antique-like artistic stuff, but except this boat, I didn't find anything.

Cheung Chau is surely not the most beautiful island in Hong Kong, but at least, living in this island is totally from the way of living in the inner city, surrounded by modern towers and traffic jam all day !
People seem to have a cooler life here.

Hong Kong: Cheung Chau island #2

How to celebrate death in Cheung Chau ?

The temples are quite small and not really interesting from an artistic point of view. I saw only two. Maybe there were more, but walking with that warm temperature forced my conviction to stop looking for more on that day.

This is a celebration for a dead person. People are all dressed with white clothes.

Hong Kong: Cheung Chau island

Arrival at the Cheung Chau island

this island looks like quite small, however, walking or even biking under that burning sun make you think in another way..
Or, you just need an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun !
