Aix-en-Provence: Cathedrale St Sauveur

these pictures were shot from the inside though i'd already taken pictures from outside showing the main entrance & architecture (in previous posts...)

this is the oldest part of the cathedral, built in the 4th century: the "baptistere"

this triptych is not supposed to be shown to public very often (as i heard from another tourist's mouth), so i shot it ... with this dark light ...


in the pictures below, other parts of the cathedral supposed to be built from the 12th to 17th century

the gothic nave (13-15th century)





and this weird picture of people looking at the Christmas crib
