Cuzco - MAP: Mochica Gallery

A lot of ceramics made by Mochica people are quite realistic .. taking representations from the nature (animals...) or human figures. There are my favorites with the Nazca ceramics, but totally different from an artistic point of view.

We use to say that each civilization was a master in a specific domain: arts, building, army... Mochica people were the best for ceramics whereas Inca people were not ... but not for building fortresses and cities ...
