Peru: Pre-Columbian Art - Ceramics & Treasures

The pictures I'm going to show you are taken from a museum I visited in few minutes (as we were running out of time...) in Cuzco: the MAP (stands for Museo de Arte Precolombino) is a non-public museum, but where the artefacts are really gorgeous ... compared to other private museums such as the Museo del Oro in Lima !

I was not allowed to take pictures but the security over there is not as the same in our industrialized countries ... however the shots are not really nice, so ... i recommand you to go there and see by yourself !

Most of the artefacts presented are ceramics, but you can see as well some nice necklaces from shells, and some paintings from the first hispanic settlers...

The biggest civilizations before the Inca empire are represented, and Inca empire obviously !
