Normandie - Notre Dame de Lonlay (2)

Here is a nice abbey met while we were driving back to the speedway (back to Paris). It can be found in the small village of Lonlay-L'Abbaye in the regional park of Normandy.

My first impression was: "this village might have sheltered an abbey a long time ago !" because the village looked so small to own its abbey !

I was wrong ... sometimes i'm a bit curious as i decided to see this abbey. When i saw it, i was amazed ! such a nice building !!




Inside, it looks like any abbey or church...



but its garden is well kept, and we can have a better view from the rear of the split between the religious building and the occupation building;
