Room of the Queen of Belgium, daughter of Louis-Philippe 1st.
Room of the Empress (Chambre de l'Imperatrice)
This room was first created in 1691 to replace 4 small rooms full of buffets in order to give a bed-room to the king Louis XIV.
Under Napoleon, it was given to "Madame Mère", mother of Napoléon, then the Impress Marie-Louise and finally to the queen Marie-Amélie, spouse of Louis-Philippe 1st, king of France between 1830 and 1848.
